Diaper-Party.com was started in 2024 by us - Joe and Parker - because we were interested in creating a website.
The idea for Diaper-Party.com was born out of need: Joe had been looking for a way to ensure that guests invited to his friend Nolan's diaper party brought the correct diaper sizes and quantities for Nolan's soon-to-arrive baby. After doing some research, he read that diaper party guests commonly brought too many newborn and size 1 diapers. So, Joe created a simple spreadsheet tool that allowed invited guests to log the diaper sizes and quantities they planned to bring to the party (which was hosted at a favorite local brewery). He was pleased to see that the guests used his spreadsheet tool! It crowdsourced the diaper needs for everyone so that each guest knew which sizes and quantities were still needed for the baby, preventing the parents-to-be from receiving too few or too many diapers of any one size.
After the party, Joe turned to his friend Parker, a talented developer and former co-worker, to help turn the spreadsheet tool into a proper diaper party and gift registry planner.
